It seems that every new gadget needs to get a reset from time to time. I managed to lock myself out of my MDA but there is a way to hard reset it even if you don’t have the password to launch the normal procedure.
To do the reset press the Comm-Manager key as well as the Voice Key and do a reset in the little reset whole (use the stylus). Hold the keys even after you initiated the reset. If the black boot screen pops up press the green phone button.
That should do it

hi, i tried to made a hard reset y folow the steps but it doesn’t happen anithing. i’m worried because after press te reset button it apear the cingular display and then the windows display but it stay as always… the phone doesn’t do the hard reset.

don’t really know what to say – I don’t use the MDA any longer. However I remember it was a bit of a trial and error thing. Are you sure, you followed all the steps I described? You might have done a soft reset?
