UNOPS is back on the UN Job List

Over the past weeks, UNOPS has changed the way they recruit: With the new Global Personnel Recruitment System (GPRS) UNOPS streamlines it’s recruitment process and expands to a roster system. So aside from the published vacancies there are a number of roster profiles that I would urge you to apply to if you fit the profile. The regular vacancies are listed on the UNOPS job page on the UN Job List here and the roster profiles are listed on the UNOPS roster page.

Here is a screenshot of the UNOPS GPRS system – I really like the clean and nice layout. What do you think?

After some hard work The Little Peacekeeper has gone out for a walk around the citadel in Erbil to admire the restoration work being undertaken with UNESCO support.

He is visiting various locations to gain a better understanding of the UN programme in the country. Here, you can see him standing next to the UNAMI logo in the UN compound in Erbil. He likes the friendliness of his Kurdish hosts and the cooperative atmosphere among the different UN agencies in Erbil.
