Hello,

I applied for several jobs with UNOPS/UN/UNICEF within last 3 months. Surprisingly, I applied for one post only 2 weeks ago and today I received an invitation to online assessment.

Still waiting for updated on other applications which are under review since October.

First of all congratulation as it seems you are on right track.
Can you share some tips with applications to Unicef? I heard that they recruit only internal people and consultants, is that true? So far I havent managed to get pre-selected for posts I applied for. I apply only for posts for which I fulfil all criteria.

are G positions only for nationals and current visa holders of the country? I read somewhere that G posts at UN in NYC are only for curent via holders,is that true?
