The article is already a few days old but it describes the work in the field in an interesting way. I wasn’t able to confirm all the details mentioned in the article but I guess the exact numbers are not really the point here. It is more about under what circumstances field project work is done:

There are nice places in this world and the good news is that some of them are even close enough to enjoy them regularly. One of these places is the caffee “Sweet Treat” in Christianshavn. It has good coffee, friendly service a nice cozy atmosphere and free wireless – what else is there to wish for?

Search Alert for Job listings – beta test open for everybody now

Just a quick note on the progress of the UN Job List e-mail alert: I opened the sign-up for the alert now for everybody. To sign-up you need to perform a search. Then, enter your e-mail address on the results page and you are signed-up for a weekly alert on United Nations vacancies that match your search criteria.
